MODES OF SENSING WITH CPs

Sensing has been accomplished using CPs through a number of modes  [Pg.484]

1) Conductometric, using change of conductivity (or resistivity, impedance or admittance). [Pg.484]

2) Potentiometric, monitoring the change of open circuit (rest or equilibrium) potential at a CP electrode. [Pg.484]

5) Gravimetric, involving the effect of a weight change in a CP and having two primary embodiments- electromechanical actuators, and the quartz crystal microbalance. [Pg.484]

Outline the principles of working of the six primary and two derivative modes of sensing with CPs identified in Sec. 17.1 and at least two other sensing modes identified in Sec. 17.9. [Pg.508]
