Models for Single Chains

One cannot, and should not, separate the computational studies from theoretical solutions to problems. Some aspects of the theoretical models for single chains are therefore discussed briefly. After all, the major goal of polymer simulations is to assist in the reliable prediction of experiment and, at the same time, the quantitative molecular understanding of the structure of matter.
