Model noncompetitive adsorption

Mezaki, R., Modification of a reaction model involving compettive-noncompetitive adsorption, J. Catal., 10, 238 (1968). [Pg.174]

The data at 77.5°C and 90.5°C lead to similar rate expressions, which can predict the results to within 2 or 3%. The models based on competitive adsorption might be preferred because the values of Kg and decrease with increasing temperature, as expected, whereas the values of Kg are nearly constant for the noncompetitive adsorption models. Kinetic tests over a wider range of partial pressures and temperatures plus supplemental adsorption measurements would be needed to determine the best model. [Pg.64]
