Mobility of atmospheric ions

This paper provides an introduction to the magnitude of electrostatic charging of aerosol particles during reactor accidents. The charge distribution varies from the Boltzmann distribution primarily because of differences in the mobilities of atmospheric ions produced by the radiation field in containment during accidents. [Pg.30]
