Mobil Chemical, plastics recycling

Many plastics producers and consumer industry leaders have become involved in major recycling ventures Mobil, Du Pont, Amoco, Dow Chemical, Proctor Gamble, Heinz, Pillsbury, Beatrice, Campbell, Continental, and others. Certain companies have long been recycling, such as Wellman, Inc., of Shrewsbury, N.J., which is the largest U.S. recycler of postconsumer plastics and scrap plastic fibers.
