Migratory nematodes

Wild-type nematodes (N2) can be used for RNAi. If stronger knockdown is required, an RNAi-sensitive strain such as rrf-3(pkl426) strain NL2099 can be used. The rrf-3(pkl426) strain is temperature sensitive and sterile at 25°C. Transgenic strains expressing GFP in cell types of interest see Table 1) are also available and facilitate identification of migratory cells. [Pg.134]
