The Middle Pillar The Balance Between Mind and Magic. Reprint, edited... [Pg.247]

When the Middle Pillar is established, return your attention to Kether. With an exhalation, visualize a stream of brilliant white light passing down the left side of your body and aura into Malkuth. Do this to a mental count of four. For a count of two, remain focused at Malkuth. [Pg.24]

Having established rhythmic breathing and the Middle Pillar as before, circulate the light from Kether to Malkuth, down and up the sides of your sphere of sensation, for at least six full cycles. Next, circulate the energy from Kether to Malkuth, down the front and up the back of your sphere of sensation, for at least six full cycles. These circulations of energy define the perimeters of the alchemical vessel, the aura. [Pg.26]

The solar and lunar currents weave about the central axis of the spinal column. At certain points, they intersect. These points of juncture relate to the position of the Middle Pillar Sephiroth on the subjective Tree of Life Kether, Tiphareth, and Yesod. These junctions are therefore of critical importance in the arousing the Dragon, the fiery power of Kundalini. The middle pillar is called the Pillar of Equilibrium and represents the balance between the male and female pillars. It contains the four Sephira—Kether (Crown), Tiphareth (Beauty), Yesod (Foundation) and Malkuth (Kingdom). These are related to The Undivided Light, the Sun, the Moon and the Earth or physical world. [Pg.68]

The analysis supposes that the car (or sled) is fixed to the reference frame and that the dummy is accelerated forward by the opposite of the acceleration-time history. This history is measured and filtered on the middle pillar of the car during a real crash or sled test, see figure 9. We are working with a relative motion between the car and the dummy such a description involves the neglecting of the car rotation (coriolis effect). To obtain the total acceleration on the dummy pans, the calculated acceleration and the prescribed one have to be added. [Pg.269]
