Microscale Acoustofluidics

Microscale acoustofluidics defines the use of ultrasonic waves onto a fluid inside a microchannel. The acoustic waves are imposed on the fluid through excitation of the microchannel walls with an actuator. Acoustofluidics in microchannels is commonly used for moving and manipulating microparticles in a microchannel. [Pg.2150]
