MFC concept in the automotive industry

In addition to the environmental issue, the polymer-polymer composites are attractive for the manufacturing of vehicles, that do not have extreme requirements regarding the mechanical performance needed. 

Another technical application of the micro- and particularly nanoporous materials prepared by means of the MFC concept is in the area of nanofilters. The nanopore sizes currently are about a couple of tens of nanometers and they fit well for this purpose. Their further reducing could make these materials candidates for storage of various gases, for example, hydrogen.
