3.4- Methylenedioxyamphetamine values

Screening for a group of illicit drugs, so-called club drugs, rape drugs, or party drugs, was carried out with a dual-mode ITMS. The reduced mobility values of ketamine, GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate), ephedrine, flunitrazepam, methamphet-amine, MDA (3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine), amphetamine, Amph-sulfate, and MDMA were reported, and the preferred mode of detection was noted. 

Simultaneous EC and ECL detection of amphetamines namely methamphet-amine, 3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine, and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphet-amine was performed employing CE. Eactors affecting the separation and detection performance, such as the detection potential, the pH value and concentration of the running buffer, the separation voltage, and the pH of the detection buffer, were explored. Its name is effectively used with a nonselective form and is applied to 3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA), and to 3,4-methylenedioxy-ethylamphetamine (MDEA) that is also known on the streets as Eve. These three compounds are quite similar in their chemical compositions and biological effects [23]. Their structures and m/z values are shown in Figure 16.6a-c.
