Methylamines, anhydrous cargo tanks

The anhydrous methylamines are shipped as flammable gases under their own vapor pressures in cylinders, tank cars, and cargo tank trucks. They are also authorized by TC and DOT for shipment in ton multi-unit (TMU) tank cars and portable tanks. 

Anhydrous methylamines are authorized for shipment in motor vehicle cargo tanks complying with DOT specification MC-330 and TC/MC-331 with a minimum design pressure of 150 psig (1030 kPa).
