Methine-like-connections

Ag3 HB(RIm)3 2Br] (R = Bu , Mes), has three anions compared with jnst one [390]. The complex [Ag3 HC(MeBenzIm)3 3](BF )3, was reported to be hygroscopic and nnstable. In fact, its instability in solntion prevented the recording of its C-NMR spectrum [390], This instability is likely connected with the rednced nucleophilicity of the annulated carbene [51,112] rather than with its methine backbone.
