This reaction has a AG° = -114 Kcal/mole Mo at 800K and it occurs over a wi de range of temperature (400-1350°C). Best deposits are obtained at low pressure (<20 Torr) and at the high end of the temperature range. The reaction is used in the production of metallurgical coatings.
