Maximum spread in the principal properties

It is possible to adopt a stepwise approach to these experiments so that additional information can be gained by running a complementary set of experiments. The tools for an efficient analysis will be more elaborate the more complex the questions are which are posed to the experimental system. Some additional examples on the use of designs based on principal properties will therefore be discussed in the next chapter, after the PLS method has been discussed.
