Maximum crimp angle

The maximum crimp angle a is calculated at the middle plait length from the derivative of the BY cosine path, as shown by Eq. (10.26). 

Fabric crimp angle n. The maximum acute angle of a single weaving yarn s direction measured from a plane parallel to the surface of the fabric.
