Manganese-Catalyzed or -Mediated Cross-coupling Reactions 

The discovery of new economical and environmentally friendly alternatives to Pd-and Ni-catalyzed-cross-coupling reactions between organic halides and organome-tallic compounds is of current interest, especially for large-scale applications. 

It should be noted that it is possible to perform selectively the acylation then the substitution reactions.
