Macrocyclic ligands donor hybridization

Several types of telluroether (diorganyl tellmide) ligands are known. They can be monodentate or polydentate, acyclic, cyclic, and macrocyclic as well as hybrid telluroether ligands containing other donor atoms in addition to tellurium. Complexes with tellmoether ligands have seen extensive research activity in recent years (for two most recent reviews, see Refs. 27 and 35). [Pg.4815]

Matano Y, Nakabuchi T, Fujishige S, Nakano H, Imahori H (2008) Syntheses, structures, and coordination chemistry of phosphole-containing hybrid calixphyrins promising macrocyclic P,N-2,X-mixed donor ligands for designing reactive transition-metal complexes. J Am Chem Soc 130 990... [Pg.368]

As a general trend, the interest in the chemistry of hybrid phosphorus-oxygen, nitrogen or/and sulfur donor ligands is mainly focused on the phenomenon of their hemilability and their potential use in catalytic processes. Other possibilities are found when these P,X (O, N, S) donors are integrated in macrocyclic systems, such as the documented ability of their derivatives to interact selectively with ionic species... [Pg.387]
