Low density lipoprotein transport

LDL particles (low density lipoproteins) transport cholesterol from the liver to the tissues.

Chylomicrons have a lower density than very-low-density lipoproteins. They pick np triacylglycerols from the intestine, whereas very-low-density lipoproteins transport triacylglycerols synthesized in the liver.
