Local Resilience Forums

Category 1 and 2 resjronders are required to take a role in forming the Local Resilience Forums that will help coordinate response at a local level. The Act also allows the Government to alter the membership of both categories of responder in order to ensure flexibility and to take account of future developments. [Pg.21]

Local Resilience Forums are established in Wales under the oversight of the Welsh Resilience Forum (WRF) which meets quarterly under the chairmanship of a minister. Risk assessment for Wales overall is undertaken by the Wales Risk Assessment Group (WRAG) which reports to the WRF. [Pg.28]
