I have made more detailed observations on this problem in my book cited above, n. 5 (esp. chap. 1, 1-2) and in a paper presented at the Convegno Intemazionale Ramon Llull, il lullismo intemazionale, I ltalia (Naples, 30/3-1/4 1989). The problem cannot be definitively solved without an in-depth study and edition of the Catalan/Latin text in MS Oxford, Corpus Christi College, 244, which I hope to undertake in the future.
