Extensive tables of the viscosity and thermal conductivity of air and of water or steam for various pressures and temperatures are given with the thermodynamic-property tables. The thermal conductivity and the viscosity for the saturated-liquid state are also tabulated for many fluids along with the thermodynamic-property tables earlier in this section. 

Zi is the charge on species i, coefficient A depends on various solute and solvent properties, and the coefficients are specific to the individual ions. Parameters for the Jones-Dole equation at room temperature are tabulated by Marcus [79]. A semiempirical extension of the Jones-Dole equation to higher concentrations, and also a method for extrapolating room-temperature parameters to higher temperatures, are described by Lencka et al. [80]. Jiang and Sandler [81] have developed a different method, based on liquid-state theory, that also appears promising for correlation and limited prediction of electrolyte solution viscosities. 

The heat of vaporization can be obtained from various sources. It can often be found in tables directly, or calculated from tabulated values of the enthalpy of the saturated vapor and liquid. Several empirical equations have been developed for the heat of vaporization, and these are reviewed in The Properties of Gases and Liquids by Polling, Prausnitz, and O Connell (5th ed., 2007). In a multicomponent, multiphase system at equilibrium, ji, is the same in every phase, but in most cases /i° and therefore fi, — fi° is different for solids, liquids, gases, and solutes (we know this without knowing the numerical value of either term). Thermodynamic properties are determined and tabulated for substances in these various standard states, and how they relate to one another in chemical reactions can be seen when we consider the equilibrium constant (Chapter 9). 

The tabulated values of properties of sand cast, machine weld-cast, machine-welded and parent plate 5356 aluminum at room and liquid nitrogen temperatures are shown in Table I.
