Library bidentate phosphines

Another promising approach to tackle the challenge ofvinylarene hydrocyanation was presented by de Greef and Breit in 2009 [17]. They employed a library of self-assembled bidentate phosphine ligands for the (racemic) hydrocyanation of styrene. Remarkably, they observed increased yields for electron-rich phosphine ligands, which is in contrast to earlier reports with Xantphos phosphine derivatives [18].
