Since Plieger et al. (171) were able to obtain a crystal structure for [Be(H20)2( 1-methyl-lH-imidazol-3-ium-4,5-dicarboxylate)]+, we compared the calculated and measured bond lengths and found satisfactory agreement between experimental and calculated structures.
