LH-Azonin

A soln. of K-/er -butoxide in er -butanol added at 50° to a mixture of the startg. chlorolactam and er/-butanol, refluxed overnight, and the product isolated via the cupric salt with subsequent removal of Cu(II)-ions as cupric 8-hydroxyquino-linate octahydro-lH-azonine-2-carboxylic acid.
