Laser ablation cyanide

When solid Cu(CN)2 was ablated with 1064 nm laser pulses, various ions containing two-coordinate bridged by cyanide ions were formed. These ions collectively have been dubbed a metal cyanide abacus. What are the likely structures of such ions (including the most likely geometry around the copper ion) (Reference I. G. Dance, P. A. W. Dean, and K. J. Fisher, Inorg. Chem., 1994, 33, 6261.)...
