Kink insertion/deletion

The simplest internal local JV-changing moves are kink insertion and kink deletion (J and K in Fig. 2.9) these have AiV = +2 and AiV = —2, respectively. The simplest end-group local iV-changing moves are end-bond addition and end-bond deletion (L and M in Fig. 2.9) these have AiV = -Fl and AN = -1, respectively. [Pg.85]
