Isopropylidene glycerol ester

Analysis of the hydrolysis of 3-hydroxy-4-pentenoicacid ethyl ester (HPAE) and isopropylidene glycerol ester (IPG) was performed utilizing Shimadzu GC 14A and the P-Hydrodex-3P columns, manufactured by Macherey-Nagel, Diiren.

Compound 128 has been synthesized by reaction of fluorescein methyl ester and 4-chloro-l-(4,4 -dimethoxytrityloxy)butane followed by detritylation and phosphitylation with bis-(N,N-diisopropylamino)methoxyphosphine.
