Ion diffusion model

Macroscopic modelling of the catalyst electrode-electrolyte interface behaviour is made by use of the Butler-Volmer equations (3.25), and this model is then incorporated into the gas flow and ion diffusion models described in sections 3.5.2 and 3.5.3.
