Intermediate state of reaction

Moreover, the absorption spectra or the emission during the dissociation [03, (Imre et al. 1982), Nal (Foth et al. 1982)] give direct information on the intermediate states of reaction, and on the dynamics, not only at the turning point as for the laser-assisted collisions. 

After the n-complex, in presence of an electron acceptor a different complex is fonned - the o-complex. It s a cationic species, a real intermediate that lacks aromatic properties, but its four n-electrons are delocalized across the ring that stabilizes the cation somewhat, allowing sometimes to separate the o-complex. o-complex is a true chemical compound, not just an intermediate state of reaction. It is alternatively as known as the Wheland intermediate. Some of them are stable and were prepared.
