You can try to imagine how many molecules we can make just from the modular fragments discussed in this lecture. This process can be repeated for any molecule. We are talking about an infinity of infinite molecular worlds, made just from fragments that involve C and H atoms. As Bruno Schulz wrote  

The chemical matter is limitless, and it submits only to creativity.
