In lll Lewis Acids

In the preparation of this manuscript, we had endeavored to provide as complete a survey as possible on the myriads of reactions that were found to be influenced by the Lewis acidity of In(lII) salts, with coverage of primary literature on In(III) chemistry from early reports up to the last quarter of2006. The reactions presented were broadly classed and attention had been paid to the chronolc cal developments of chemistry, all with the aim of providing a perspective that might encourage further developments in this field.
