Immobilized to silicon

20 g activated silica gel is scattered in 300 mL anhydrous toluene, 8mL y-chloropropyltriethoxysilane is added and allowed to react for 8 h under nitrogen protection at 110°C. Then it is cooled down to room temperature. Solid product (CD-Si02) is filtered and washed with DMF, toluene and water respectively, dried under vacuum for 48 h. 5g dried fi-CD is dissolved in 50 mL anhydrous DME 0.5 g NaH is added, and allowed to react for 0.5 h. The insoluble materials are filtered, Si02-Cl is added in filtrate, slowly warmed to 90°C and reacted for 24 h. The product (CD-S102) is filtered and washed with DMF, and water in turn, dried under vacuum for 48 h, and the solid product is thus gained. [Pg.171]

Some other methods are immobilized by amino bonds. For example, 6-chlorpromazine-CD and single-6-sulfonic add ester-CD are used as intermediates. Silica gel carrier with the amino groups is used to immobilize CDs to obtain CD silica gel bonded phase. [Pg.171]
