Imines polydentate imine complexes

Where observed, superhyperfine coupling involving ligand atoms is also a very valuable aid in the determination of the structures of Cr(V) complexes, which has been particularly useful in determining the number of amide donors to Cr(V) in peptide and polydentate amide complexes (22, 33-36). The smaller superhyperfine coupling for amine and imine donors, however, is not normally resolved at X-band frequencies (22, 34, 35, 37), with the exception of [CrO(salen)]+ (38) and mixed-hgand citrate complexes with picolinate, bpy, and phen (39). [Pg.152]
