Organic derivatives of the type R2NS(0)F have also been prepared from (LXIII). The existence of an imidosulfuric acid (LXVII) is more probable than that of an amidosulfuric acid. According to Ephraim and Piotrowski (81), the ammonium salt of this acid (LXVIII) is formed when S03 is added to excess of NH3. It seems that there are two compounds with the composition S022NH3, one of which is formed at very low temperatures in the form of glistening plates (48), and a compound which is obtained at room temperature. The latter is probably the triammonium salt of imido-disulfinic acid. [Pg.182]
