II Complexes One-Pot Syntheses from Pentacarbonyliron

DICARBONYL-m-DIHYDRIDO-rrfl/is-BIS(PHOSPHITE)IRON(II) COMPLEXES ONE-POT SYNTHESES FROM PENTACARBONYLIRON 

Finally, the complex FeH2(CO)2(dppe), [dppe = l,2-ethandiylbis -(diphenylphosphine)] was fortuitously obtained in 40% yield by the reaction of Fe(COUHXSiR)3[SiR3 = Si(C5H5)3, Si(CH3)2C6H5] and dppe.  

The procedure we report here involves the very simple reaction of K[FeH(CO)4] with a phosphite ligand in protic medium. It affords the complexes FeH2(CO)2[P(OR)3]2 in high yields.
