The supposed structure of 6-O-p-tolylsulfonyl-D-idose for this compound 23 is, with respect to the optical rotation, improbable the 1,6-anhydride bond should be stable under the conditions of p-toluenesulfonylation. 

Using chair representations, write the structure of a-d-allopy ranose, P-d-altropyranose, a-d-gulopyranose, p-d-idopyranose, and a-d-talopyranose.
