Hypokalemic thyrotoxic periodic paralysis

Secondary hypokalemic paralysis can be caused by almost any event that causes excessive loss. One particularly interesting secondary condition, however, is thyrotoxic periodic paralysis, seen most commonly in Chinese patients.
