Hyperuricemia-Epidemiology

With respect to dietary therapy our results confirm the clinical and epidemiological experiences that diets of poverty and hunger cannot sustain hyperuricemia. Therefore, therapy of the majority of cases of gout by diet alone is theoretically feasible. However, in my hometown nobody would accept such a diet, low in everything people in Germany love. 

Epidemiology teaches us that a rich" diet is involved in pathogenesis and ethiology of cardiovascular diseases and contributes to the development of obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, hyperglycemia, hyperuricemia, all implicated as risk factors.
