Salvia montbretii yielded two new compounds, one of which is a derivative of salvinolone (14). The compounds isolated were salvinolonyl 12-methyi ether (15) and 14-hydroxyferruginol (16) in addition to the known compounds ferruginol, ferruginyi 12-meth ether, taxodione, hypargenin F and demethylcryptojaponol. The H NMR spectrum of the new compounds showed typical signals... [Pg.666]
