The presence of calcium chloride at the concentration of 30 nmole/1 reduced the order of magnitude of the mean error of the measuring points around the regression line of the hydronium ions adsorption by HCl and NaOH, respectively. At least the variance of the values was the result of the instability of the system during pH measurement and when no additional electrolyte was present. As a rule, more than 10 minutes were required to get values that could be regarded as reliable.
