Hydrides Compton profiles

Several models have been employed in the calculation of the hydrides Compton profile with some degree of success. 

Starting with a general evaluation of the particle s beam as a probe to extract the hydride s band structure, this review summarizes the essential feature of the incoherent scattering as probe in the comparative studies of amorphous and crystalline hydrides. In this connection the essentials of the approximations for photon-electron and electron-electron collision are explained. Experimental procedures for the determination of difference Compton profile using X-ray, y-ray and electron sources are described. The advantage afforded by this type of measurements in the study of electronic properties are illustrated in the case of Ti and TiH2 ...
