How to Replace Cracked Tile

Rag Hammer Chisel Putty knife Grout removal tool Craft stick or old toothbrush [Pg.246]

Cover the tile with a rag and smash it to bits with a hammer. (Be careful not to smash the nearby tiles.) Chisel out the bits of tUe and clean out the old glue, ideally with a putty knife or chisel. [Pg.246]

EVALUATE THE GROUT. If it s chipped or decaying, use a grout remover to scrape it free. [Pg.246]

Wipe the edges of the hole with a rag to clear away any additional debris. Dry thoroughly. [Pg.246]

Spread tile adhesive onto the back of a new tile and push it into place. [Pg.246]
