Homogeneous Ferrocene-mediated Amperometric Immunoassay

Since binding of 4 to a specific antibody produces an electrochemicaUy inert entity, the intensity of the current is proportional to the quantity of free tracer in the medium, and thus inversely related to the quantity of analyte present.
