Holy Immortals

In Zoroastrianism, Ahura Mazda and Spenta Mainyu together evoked the bounteous septet of Amesha Spentas, the Beneficent or Holy Immortals.These spiritual beings exorcise the deavas, who are major demons committed to ruination. Jewish and Christian traditions adopted the seven Amesha Spentas as seven archangels. 

A pledged sisterhood of female friends, jin-shei represents a lifetime of commitment binding and holy. O Creature of Fire, I exorcise you by Him by whom all things were made in order that you shall remove from yourself all phantoms. Bless it, O eternal Father, for the glory of thy holy and immortal Name. Thou who lives and reigns through all the centuries of the centuries. 

You also asked me in turn for my view about our resurrected bodies and limbs with their condition of incorruptibility and immortality, and in their future roles. Listen to this briefly. If it is not sufficient, with God s help the discussion could be broadened. We must hold very firmly to the point that a true and unambiguous statement of holy scripture makes these visible and earthly bodies, now described as endowed with soul, will be endowed with spirit [i Cor 15.44] when the faithful and just are resurrected. Now we have no experience of what a spiritual body is like. I do not know how we could grasp or explain it. Certainly there will be no corruption there therefore they will not then need the corruptible food that they now need. However, they will not be unable genuinely to consume it, but this will be through power rather than need. Otherwise the Lord would not have taken food after his resurrection [cf. Lk 24.30, 43 Jn 21.13] here he provided us with a model of bodily resurrection, as the apostle says of this If the dead do not rtse, then neither did Christ rise [i Cor 15.16]. He appeared with a complete set of limbs, and he employed them in their proper roles, and he showed the place where his wounds were [cf. Mt 28.9-10 Mk 16.9, 14-19 Lk 24.15-43 Jn 20.14-29].
