Heterogeneous archival life object

Here is an example of how we see such a patient record. The term HALO (heterogeneous archival life object) is a terrible acronym in some respects but natural to the IT industry, or at least its researchers, who talk that way. In any event the concept and term HALO became popular in the Internet and was reported in WIRED magazine.
