Hemsleyanol from Shorea hemsleyana

Hemsleyanol E (765) extracted from the stem bark of Shorea hemsleyana (Dipterocarpaceae) [206] is a stereoisomer of (+)-parviflorol (764), which was initially isolated from the bark of Hopea parviflora [266], while diptoindonesin D (766) from Hopea dryobalanoides is an oxidative product of (+)-parviflorol (764), which was also isolated earlier [271]. [Pg.551]
