Helping Your Client Understand the Models of Recovery 

There will likely be one model that will appeal to you more than the others. However, each of these models has strengths (and weaknesses, of course), so I would not recommend completely discarding any of these solutions. In fact, you may find that you draw from many models to find solutions for those clients you find difficult to help. So for those clients who are puzzling you, and who do not seem to be getting better using the model that you are most comfortable with, take a look at another model to find out whether there is a solution there that can help this difficult client get better.
