Haumaniastrum robertii

An aqueous extract from a cobalt hyperaccumulator (Morrison et al., 1981), Haumaniastrum robertii, contained 14% Co. Since the molecular weight was about 5200 per Co, it could not be proteinaceous. Electrophoresis gave a complicated pattern, and gas-liquid chromatography following methylation gave 2 peaks which were not identified. [Pg.269]
