Half-Titanocenes, CpTiX

Half-titanocenes such as Cp liF3, Cp Ti(OMe)3, and IndTlCh are efficient catalyst precursors for syndiospecific styrene polymerization, as described in the Introduction [9-11]. However, these catalyst precursors showed low catalytic activities for olefin polymerization, and the resultant polymers in the ethylene/styrene (co)polymerization afforded a mixture of PE, SPS, and the copolymer (E/S copolymer) [12]. 

Longo reported that the CpTlCL-MAO catalyst system afforded ethylene/ styrene copolymers (E/S copolymer) with SPS inserted sequences, and the
