5 Grasses of economic importance 19.5.1 Types of grass varieties 

This group corrsists of varieties of three species Westerwolds, Italian and hybrid 

Solid and AberExcel are examples of currently reconunended varieties. AberEcho and AberEve are recent introductions with improved yields and, in the case of AberEcho, very good early spring growth.
